Vietnam Church Partnership
Let's Bring change through Church Development
GMP is partnering with a group of house churches in Vietnam who have a commitment to prayer, baptism, the weekly celebration of communion, and the ministry of women and men. The churches vary in size from a handful of people to around 60 or so. These groups of Christians are deeply committed to reaching out and to supporting each other in their faith journeys. Some are reaching out to ethnic minorities who are also living in significant poverty. The development of churches in Vietnam will continue to be a slow journey however ICP is committed to building capacity through leadership development and encouragement. GMP provides support for pastors, training and prayer days in the north, centre and south of Vietnam.
Christians in Vietnam know they need each other, meeting weekly for prayer and encouragement
A number of years ago Global Mission Partners entered into a partnership with a network of unregistered house churches. GMP is partnering with a group of house churches as they prepare for registration. In recent years the Vietnam government has relaxed some restrictions on the life of the churches. This has opened a pathway for churches to be registered nationally.
