About Us

Meet the Locals

We partner directly with local leaders. Rather than working with ‘middle men’ we know each of our partners personally. Our role is not to tell them what to do, but to support their initiatives and help build their capacity. By sharing openly, we build authentic relationships based on respect and trust. It’s these relationships that help us bring effective change together.

We’d like you to meet our partners – people on the ground championing local change. Because global mission should connect people across nations; and you are a vital part of this story. Our partners know there are people around the world who believe in their work, people like you. That support encourages and enables their life-changing work.

I work as a field officer and a great part of my activities involve getting to know people during baseline surveys finding out information about the community. It is always a great joy to hear their stories and see the progression from desperation to dignity once water, a basic need, is given to them and other activities like nutritional gardens then follow. My passion is always to empower people and water has an amazing way of doing that for the communities we assist.

I am the Donor Child Sponsorship Relations Officer at KCV.  I help our children and their sponsors in Australia, New Zealand and America communicate with each other. I love working with the children. The children long for a family and my hope is that we can carefully connect them with relatives. Lots of our children struggle academically because they have had a difficult beginning in life. We want to help them find the right courses to get them into a job that they find fulfilling.
