Where We Work
South Sudan
Overview
South Sudan gained independence in July 2011 after enduring more than 20 years of civil war. However, the country fell back into conflict in 2013 due to internal power struggles. Today, these struggles continue, fueled by political, inter-ethnic, and inter-communal violence. There is a pressing need for peace and efforts to build a better future for the next generation.
We currently have various initiatives underway in South Sudan to help promote peace, provide education for vulnerable children, support livelihoods, create opportunities for refugees and empower evangelists and pastors to share the love of God within their communities.
