Vocational Training

Improving livelihoods through vocational training
The Vocational Training Project, implemented by Hosanna Ministries, provides vocational training opportunities to vulnerable people, including women and youth. The training provides participants skills and confidence to get a job, start their own business or undertake further education.
Classes teaching skills such as tailoring, computer skills, wedding make-up or driving provide vulnerable people new opportunities to find well-paid jobs. Participants receive a certificate on completion of their course. Hosanna Ministries also helps students to prepare for interviews and supports them in their search for work or starting their own businesses.
What is the impact of this project?
People can break the cycle of poverty by receiving the training and support they need to earn income. With their earning capacity, they can support themselves and their families and pursue further education.
