Global Mission Partners congratulates two people who have made key contributions to the work of Churches of Christ overseas and Indigenous mission.

IMA Council Member Dawn Gilchrist- Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for service to community health. Dawn is a Yamatji woman who grew up at Carnarvon. She has served her people in community development, health services and advocacy. She is also a former Churches of Christ Federal Aboriginal Board Member.

The Reverend Jeffrey Richard May - Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for service to Churches of Christ in Australia and in the area of Chaplaincy.

Jeff is a past Executive Director GMP (OMB) 1986-1995 and was Coordinator of the Discipleship Development Program, 2001-2005. Jeff has been recognised for this. 

We give thanks to God for the commitment and ministry of Dawn and Jeff.
