Christine's Story

Wednesday, 18 May 2016

Students choose to study at the Christian Church Theological School of Indonesia (CCTSI) because of their desire to dedicate their lives to serving the Lord and to impact the lives of others. This commitment and the fruit of the Holy Spirit can be seen in Christine’s Story:

For many years CCTSI had been praying for the village of Karang, where there is no church. The village is Muslim and closed to church planters. We were able to connect with Christine, who we baptised in 2015. God has opened a door through Christine to share about Jesus in her village. Recently at Easter, Christine baptised four of her friends and relatives! The four young teenagers live with their parents who guard the mosque. Through prayer the Holy Spirit opened their minds and hearts so they chose to receive Jesus. Now it’s time to disciple them and guide them. Please keep praying for this as we are assured God will work through them and declare His glory.

Christine’s story is example of how students are taking up opportunities and passionately sharing what Jesus has done for them. Despite the differences in religion or language, others are experiencing Christ’s transforming power in their lives.

The vision of Asia Pacific Christian Mission International (APCMI) School in Bandung and the Christian Church Theological School of Indonesia (CCTSI) in Salatiga is to train church planters and equip young people to follow Jesus. You can help to build up passionate church planters in Indonesia through a financial gift of support and through prayer.
