In July 2026, Global Mission Partners are hosting a Discovery Visit to experience mission in Zimbabwe with Safe Water September.

This group will travel to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, to visit our friends at Showers of Blessing and experience firsthand the impact you have had through Safe Water September. The trip will include a visit to the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, South Africa, and then 10 nights in Zimbabwe. You will visit local communities that have had boreholes installed, and other water projects, plus visit Zimbabwean Churches of Christ and Khayelihle Children’s Village (KCV). There will also be time for sightseeing and tourist activities, including the Great Zimbabwe National Monument, National Parks and two nights at the incredible Victoria Falls.

$1500 + $2500 approx. flights = $4,000 total

Requirements

You must attend a briefing session in the lead up to the trip (dates TBA).

You must have a valid passport at time of travel.

You must have a valid Working With Children / Working With Vulnerable People check, or equivalent, and submit to child safety screening before travel.

You must provide character references who can confirm your suitability to join this trip.
