Zimbabwe Church Partnership
Let's Bring Change through Local Pastors
GMP partners with churches in Zimbabwe in both urban and rural settings through the Associated Churches of Christ in Zimbabwe (ACCZ). Urban churches can be found in suburbs like Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second largest city, and need leaders that can minister effectively to highly qualified professionals. In contrast, rural churches are often geograhically distant and difficult to access by foot. The growth of rural churches combined with the lack of resources to pay for full-time pastors means that many serve between 4 to 8 churches. GMP helps build the capacity of local people in ministry by supporting key leaders and developing leadership skills. We are also responding to their cry for help to equip them to reach their ministry settings, despite the hardships in Zimbabwe.
BJ Mpofu
GMP supports key leaders like BJ Mpofu, previously President of the World Convention, who is highly involved in GMP's work in Zimbabwe. We also support 7 evangelists who have a passion to open new preaching points and see people coming to know Jesus. Will you support the work of BJ Mpofu and other evangelists in bringing the good news of Jesus to people in Zimbabwe?
Motorbike Evangelists
To date, 30 motorcycles have been supplied to pastors and evangelists in Zimbabwe so they can reach remote locations with the love of Jesus. GMP equips pastors with a motorcycle, fuel and necessary repairs, registration and insurance costs. Do you want to support motorbike evangelists?
