Vanuatu Church Partnership
Let's Bring Change through Ministry Training
GMP's partnership with Churches of Christ Conference in Vanuatu (CCCV) focusses on building up leadership capacity in the churches. This is done by upskilling local pastors and supporting students in gaining ministry training. You can partner with us in providing pastoral support to students at Londua Technical College.
Londua Technical College
Originally a training college for pastors and teachers, Londua Technical College has now been offering academic and vocational studies on the island of Ambae for over 55 years. A co-educational facility, Londua has established an excellent reputation for high standards of vocational training. Their vision goes beyond being the best technical education and business management school to one that also offers a holistic Christian education experience to their students. GMP supports the presence of a Chaplain at Londua Technical College.
Church Re-construction
Following the extensive damage of Cyclone Pam in March 2015, GMP has also assisted with the reconstruction of Sarabetu Church with smaller repairs at Leneae, Bangor, Imarap and Ikuningen Churches.
Conference Churches of Christ Vanuatu (CCCV)
In 1973, the Conference of Churches of Christ in the New Hebrides (Vanuatu) was formally constituted. In the 1980s, the Conference restructured and appointed directors to oversee areas of Church Development, Mission and Evangelism and Youth and Christian Education. The Conference office is in Luganville on the island of Santo.
