PNG Leadership Development

Many of the churches in Papua New Guinea are located in remote settings, making it difficult for community leaders and pastors to gather easily for leadership training programs. Despite this, hundreds of people are willing to walk for several days when there is a regional renewal or teaching program on offer! GMP is committed to the leadership development of student pastors at Gandep Bible College and local pastors and leaders in their communties.

Assisting Pastors and Leaders

GMP is committing $20,000 to support leadership teams in travelling to the various areas where churches are located so they can offer training to leaders and pastors within their home communities. This will help to cover the cost of fuel and the need to hire transport to access these remote areas.

Gandep Bible College

GMP supports the training of local pastors at Gandep Bible College by subsidising their college fees and assisting with the costs of travelling to their rural church planting and ministry settings. We are committing $30,000 to help local pastors minister more effectively and reach even the most remote communities of Papua New Guinea.
