In July 2026, Global Mission Partners is hosting a leadership Discovery Trip to Vanuatu.

This trip is intended for senior pastors and church leaders and will be hosted by John Lamerton (CEO, Global Mission Partners).

This will be an opportunity to meet senior leadership among the Conference of Churches of Christ Vanuatu, visit local churches and ministries assisting people affected by natural disasters. A key part of this visit is to better understand the current leadership development challenges faced by the 100 Churches of Christ across Vanuatu.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn some of the language and culture of Vanuatu, hosted by local Christian leaders. They will also have the opportunity to visit local communities often impacted by the annual tropical cyclone season and see first-hand how churches are playing a key role in protecting the most vulnerable. 

Leaders from Australian Churches of Christ participating in this Discovery Trip may qualify for professional development credit points. As each State Conference operates its own professional development program, please speak to the local representative to see if this experience meets the criteria.
