Heena’s Story – End of Financial Year Appeal Video

Your gift before June 30 can empower our partners to continue bringing God’s hope, love, and restoration to children like Heena in India.

Heena has a warm and confident smile. She lives in a squatter community on the edge of a garbage dump. Her home is made of plastic sheets and is without running water. As we sat with her, she shared her story, and I learned that her smile wasn’t always so bright.

Heena loves going to school. But bullying from her peers quickly changed that. For Heena, getting an education is her chance to have a better future than that of her mother and sisters, who work at the garment factory.

Unfortunately, the intimidation at school became too much for Heena. She dropped out last year at the age of 12.

However, Heena’s story isn’t without hope.

When the staff at Hosanna Ministries learned of her struggles, they rallied around her, supporting her and collaborating with her parents, teachers, and a social worker. Thanks to their efforts, Heena has been accepted into a private English-speaking school!

We’d love for you to partner with us at the end of the financial year to help bring God’s restoration to more children like Heena. This restorative work is possible because of your faithful partnership.
