66 People Baptised in a River on One Weekend!

This year, one of the gifted evangelists in Zimbabwe, Sichoni, started visiting the district of Zvomukonde, located about 322 kilometres (4 hours) from Bulawayo. Since June, Sichoni has been visiting every Wednesday for what is called a “preaching point” (a pre-church plant), with approximately 30 people attending each week. In one weekend during September, he baptised 66 people in the river! This significant event highlights the need to establish a new church in the area. It has also inspired all the local evangelists serving with the Associated Churches of Christ in Zimbabwe, and we hope it encourages you as well.
