Let's Bring Change through Church Planting

GMP supports pastors in the Church of Christ Thailand (CCT) District 11 in the Nakhon Pathom Province which is roughly 50kms west of Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. The focus of our partnership in Thailand is on developing leaders and resourcing church planting, to support outreach to the tribal Plang community – a minority group who are not recognised in Thailand. Many Plang people work in orchid farms on minimal wages to supply markets in Bangkok. However, they are passionate for people to come to know the good news of Jesus. The Plang church, despite their poverty and their difficult legal status, has grown, and is in the process of planting another church in the province.

GMP formally signed a new partnership agreement with the Church of Christ in Thailand in September 2012. This partnership also opened up new opportunities for increased relationships in mission and for volunteers to work in schools and medical facilities.
