Indonesia Leadership Development
Church Planters
Antony recently graduated from CCTSI feeling blessed by the valuable experiences that have helped him mature in faith and confirm his calling to ministry. He recalls being frightened but challenged by the task of participating in a one-year church planting ministry during his fourth year to an unreached people group in Indonesia. After much prayer, God gave him a burden for both the Sundanese people of West Java and the Dayak people of Kalimantan. Heading off to West Java to work in the area of community development, Antony lived among the Sundanese community and participated in their daily activities. As he visited families with his “mobile library” (books in his backpack) and opened a local library at the house of a key neighbourhood leader, God brought "people of peace" to listen and learn of the good news of Jesus Christ.
ICP supports the work of church planters like Antony who are passionate about connecting with local families and bringing them the good news of Jesus. We commit $900 per year to support their one-year church planting ministry costs.
Will you, as a church, support church planters in spreading the good news of Jesus to people in Indonesia?
Student Pastors
Derek is a student at Christian Church Theological School Indonesia (CCTSI). On Fridays, he helps at the church plant in Karangombo, not too far from Polobogo Church where he worships. He also runs a weekly tutoring program for the kids at school, teaching them math, coloring and other things. After a year, the parents are now starting to trust Derek and inviting him into their homes. Relationships have grown out of these visits and the conversations have moved deeper into talking about matters of faith, allowing Derek to share the good news of Jesus with these families.
ICP helps to equip students for ministry life by committing $2,400 to assist 30 students with their weekend ministry travel costs.
